So basically students know they give half-assed efforts in class - and then blame the structure, school, class and teacher for them being half-assed students. The dumbing-down of education is clearly explained by these narcissistic fools saying they facebook through classes and then wonder "Gee, why do I feel uninvolved in education". The reason is because students today are FAR more narcissistic, FAR less literate and FAR more addicted to useless infotainment fluff than ever before.
I am infinitely glad that I go to a small college where the teachers actually legitimately care about teaching: I feel like I actually learn things in class that I can apply to my own life.
Good luck finding a job when you get out of school thousands of dollars in debt in a poor job market.
I completely agree with this video. I wasted lots of money, time, and effort at a college for nothing. My high school years were even worse - kids were made fun of and bullied badly. One kid was bullied so bad that he killed himself :( I now make $50,000 delivering products to stores and merchandising their shelves WITHOUT a degree. Something needs to be done to education but until things change we plan on homeschooling any future children we may have so they actually learn.
