History
was founded in 1969 by Paul Verhaert, Professor Emeritus Product development, Antwerp University College.
From the eighties onwards VERHAERT is the leading Belgian supplier of professional product innovation services. The involvement in advanced space programs (now managed by QinetiQ Space NV, previously VERHAERT Space), delivered a significant contribution to our methodology in accomplishing innovation programs. The space activity often still supports the technological component of our industrial projects.
Since 1969 has attracted the attention of academics, entrepreneurs and journalists. Since 2009 VERHAERT offers also new-business development consultancies, ideation-workshops and 'new-product management' training seminars to facilitate our customers mastering their own innovation processes.

Baladharshan-Social responsibility
is proud to sponsor the Baladharshan project, a social care programme committed to a poor Indian village with great people; Baladharshan. The project is focused on housing, tailor-made food, health and education programs.
The project was set up on site in 2001 by the engineering team of VERHAERT Space (now QinetiQ Space NV), whilst integrating the PROBA 1 satellite on a PSLV rocket at the nearby launch basis.
Step by step our innovation center became a unique environment with a mix of great personalities.
