Our innovation centre is organised in dedicated areas:

Open innovation

VERHAERT owns innovation facilities in Kruibeke, near Antwerp. On 12000 m² divided over two sites, it provides engineering, test & integration facilities and clean rooms to and QinetiQ Space nv. (www.QinetiQ.be).

Hosting the customer

In early stages of your ventures VERHAERT can, as an integrated part of its VENTURING PROGRAMME, offer incubation services at its innovation centre in order to facilitate close interaction with our project & consultancy offices, teams and experts.

Integration & testing

At our headquarters we have access to extensive integration and test labs including clean rooms if required, to build, test and validate technology demonstrators, proof-of-concepts, prototype and pilot runs. Besides this lab we have a wide range of virtual test and simulation tools like Simulink, Matlab, Labview, etc.

Engineering and simulation

Flexible engineering areas and offices offer co-location capacity to our multi disciplinary team supported by strong IT infrastructure and Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) tools.

Innovation & design

Aspects of product desirability, usability, and the semantics play a dominant role in the perception of the product value by the end user. Industrial design and user insights therefore fulfil a key role in creating successful products and services. To focus on these aspects we have our own design studio at our innovation centre.

Training & meeting

Central in our facilities you will find our customer and training area.

This training & meeting centre is available for our clients to organise workshops, creative sessions, seminars and progress meetings.
